Step 1 – App Info
How do I change my Website Address (URL)?

- You website address can only be changed by an administrator here at StoreFronts. If you need it changed, please contact us at support@storefronts.shop. Please provide your app name, consultant id, old website address, and new website address.
- After the change, if you have any app menu (footer) buttons that use your old website address, we suggest you update them to use the new address.

Where will my description be displayed?
The description is displayed on the profile page of your corporate side of the app and when sharing your app through social media links via the share/promote option on the dashboard.
Who will see my contact info?
Your contact info will be visible to yourself, your company, and administrators here at StoreFronts. Your info will only be available to your customers when and if you include contact features on Step 3 of the app design process.
Step 3 – Menu Design
How long will it take for my menu changes to show up in the app?
Changes should appear the next time you open the app.
How do I change my app menu (footer) buttons?
You can change these buttons at any time by returning to Step 3 and editing the buttons as you wish.
Is there a limit to how many app menu buttons I can have?
You can have as many buttons as you want. We suggest that you try not to clutter the app menu with too many buttons, but there is no limit.
Step 5 – App Promotion
Why is promoting my app important?
You app is a gateway to your business. Having your app on someone’s phone is like having a storefront in their pocket.
What is Google Analytics?
Google Analytics is a system that tracks data about your app. Your app will have a Google Analytics display accessible from the front page. If you don’t see this feature, then your company has opted out of having this display.
How can I share the app?
We offer many ways to share your app, including text, email, social media options, and a QR code. You can access these features by going to your dashboard and clicking the Share/Promote button.
What is a QR code?
A QR code is a coded image that, when scanned by a mobile device, will navigate the device’s browser to a certain address (URL). This is often the fastest and easiest way for people with a QR app on their mobile device to get an app.
What is a Push Notification?
A Push Notification is a message that is broadcasted to everyone who has the app downloaded onto their mobile device. Users can opt out of receiving push notifications.
How can I send Push Notifications?
You can send push notifications directly from your app or from the dashboard, by clicking on the Push button. The push button grants you access to more advanced features such as location specific messaging.
App Promotion/Sharing
Why do I want to promote my app?
When a customer downloads your app, it puts your business on their mobile device. You could think of it as having a storefront in your customers’ pockets.
How can I promote my app?
We offer many methods to share your app, including social media options, email, text, and QR codes.
How can I get a link to my app?
There are two ways to get the link to your app:
- The easiest way to get the link to your app is to share the app with yourself. You can do this by going to your dashboard, clicking on the Promote button, and sending an email or text to yourself. The message you receive will contain the link.
- You can also look in the info section of your dashboard, under the App Details section.
Can I get a QR code for my app?
Yes. First, go to your dashboard. Then click on the Promote button. Expand the QR Codes section, and you will see your QR codes. You can copy or save these images and use them to share your app.
What types of devices can download my app?
The app can be downloaded on Apple devices (iPhone or iPad with iOS version 10.X or newer) and Android devices (phones or tablets with operating systems from 2015 or later).
Will my app be free for my customers to download?
Yes. The app will always be free for your customers.
I have a large email contact list that I would like to notify about my new app link. How can I accomplish this?
We suggest that you email the app link to yourself from your dashboard. Then copy the link and paste it into the body of an email message you have created for your contact list. Finally, insert the marketing list into the “BCC” field of your email. You could also look into services such as MailChimp.com, with which you can create and manage email campaigns.
Analytics
What are Google Analytics? (Intentionally duplicated)
Google Analytics is a system that tracks data about your app. Your app will have a Google Analytics display accessible from the front page. If you don’t see this feature, then your company has opted out of having this display.
How can I know how many people downloaded my app?
You can see this information by going to your dashboard and clicking on the Analytics button or by tapping the Analytics button in the app, on the corporate facing side of the app. Your company may opt out of having the analytics button in the app. The information will be displayed at the top of the screen under downloads.
How can I know how many times my app has been shared?
You can see this information by going to your dashboard and clicking on the Analytics button or by tapping the Analytics button in the app, on the corporate facing side of the app. The information will be displayed under the App Shares section.
How can I see where my customers are looking in my app?
Coming Soon. Your Analytics will track all of the important pages and buttons in your app. You will also be able to see where your users are clicking.
Can I get detailed information on the people who have downloaded my app?
Google Analytics provides summarized data so that you have an overview of the app’s activity and usage. These analytics do not provide detailed information about individual users.
Troubleshooting
What if I didn’t get the email with my app link?
Please check your Spam or Junk folder, as sometimes the email is directed to that folder. If the message is not there, you can get the link by logging into your App Dashboard, clicking the Promote button, and using one of the sharing methods to send the link to yourself.
What if I accidentally deleted one of my app menu buttons?
You can always recreate your app menu buttons. First, login to your App Dashboard and select Edit. Then, add back the features you want. Changes will be available the next time you open the app.
Why is the app link I received or shared not ‘clickable’?
Some devices and email or text services block clickable links. In that case, simply copy and paste the full link into your mobile web browser.
Why am I getting the error message “Oops go back, something weird happened!”?
- You are receiving this message because the website address (URL) that you provided in the app request form is not a valid address. To fix this, login to your App Dashboard, select Edit, and review the website information in your Home Page feature. Make sure there is not a typo in your website address. If there is a typo, please send an email to support@storefronts.shop with your name, consultant ID, old website address, and the new, correct website address. We will make the change and notify you when completed.
- If you determine that your website address is accurate, there may be an issue with your website itself. In this case, please contact your corporate office.
Why is my app using the wrong website (URL)?
Your app must have a working and accurate website address (URL). Please check the website address you provided in order to make sure it is accurate. See the FAQ above, titled “Why am I getting an error message” for more detailed instructions.

Step 2 – App Design
Why do I see “Ionic Landing Page Managed by Corporate”?
Your company has decided to use a predetermined app template. Therefore, there is nothing for you to customize. You can safely move on to the next step.
Can I use a different template or use my own template?
You must use one of the templates provided for you on the Design Page.
Can I change the Landing Page layout ?
You can only use what is provided.
Step 4 – App Branding
Where will my Profile Picture/Icon be displayed?
Your picture or icon will be displayed on your customer’s facing landing page, in the top left corner of your shop or other web related buttons, and in the app info section in the settings screen.
Where will my App Loading Image - Splash Image be displayed?
This image will be displayed when the app is opened.
Why doesn’t my image look right?
Your image may have been resized by our system. In order to ensure that the picture is exactly as you want it, please upload an image that matches the dimensions given in Step 4.
Multi-Tenant Apps
How do I sign up?

What are the pricing options for the Multi-Tenant program?
Pricing varies based on your requirements, customization, support structure, and volume of tenant apps. Pricing starts at $5,000. Please contact us to schedule a discussion using the form below.
How does the tenant download the app?
Upon the completion of the on-boarding process, the tenant will receive a confirmation email with a link to their app. They can then share the app with their customers using our app sharing tools.
How do push notifications work in the Multi-Tenant program?
Push notifications sent through the Master Company App will be distributed to all downloaded apps. Push notifications sent by tenants will be distributed to their own tenant app.

Can my tenants share their links to their app?
Yes. Each tenant has their own dashboard through which they can share their app via email, texts, social media options, and more. Tenants can also share their app link from within their app using the Share feature. Customers can in turn use the Share feature to spread the app.
Push Notifications

You can send push notifications directly from your app. You can also go to your dashboard and click on the Push button to access more advanced features such as location specific messaging.
Who will receive my push notifications?
Customers who download your app will be able to opt out of receiving your push notifications. All of your customers who have agreed to receive pushes will receive them.
Can I send videos with my push notifications?
You can include links to your videos in the push notification. You cannot embed the video in the actual message.
Do my customers have to agree to allow push notifications in order to download my app?
No. Your customers can download the app even if they opt out of receiving push notifications.
What is a GeoPush?
A GeoPush is a push notification that sent only to apps within a certain area. For example, if you are running a promotion that is only valid in New York, you can send the message only to people in New York.
Why did I (or my customers) not get a GeoPush, even though I am (or they are) in the area specified?
GeoPushes are based on your phone’s currently recognized location, which is not necessarily your real location. Your phone’s location only updates if you run an app that causes an update. A weather app, for example, will update your phone’s location when opened.
Account/Login
How do I login to manage my app?
You should have received an email with your login credentials after you filled out the app creation form. Check your Spam or Junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox. If you don’t have the email, try using the Forgot Password link or contact your corporate office.
Why am I getting a message indicating that my email or password is incorrect when attempting to login to my dashboard?
There are several reasons why you could be receiving this message. Try to log in again, making sure that you are typing both your email address and password correctly. Make sure the Caps Lock key is off, and there are no leading spaces. If you continue to get this message, please use the Forgot Password process to obtain a new password.
Why am I getting a message that my email doesn’t exist when using the Forgot Password process during Login?
There are several reasons why you could be getting this message. Try the username again, making sure that you are using the email address you used when initially requesting your app. If you continue to have issues, please send an email to support@storefronts.shop which includes the full details of your issue. Please include the name of your app, your consultant ID (if applicable), and the phone number you used when requesting your app.
How do I change the email address used for my App Dashboard login?
- On your dashboard, click Profile. Then, make any changes you need and hit the Update button.
- If you have an App Menu (footer) button that uses your old email address, make sure to update the button with the new address.
- Note: You will be logged out once the email is changed. Use the new email address to log back into your dashboard.
How do I change my phone number?
- On your dashboard, click Profile. Make you desired changes, then click the Update button.

Others
What is my App Dashboard?
The App Dashboard is the front page to which you are directed after logging in. It contains links to the Edit, Push, Analytics, and Push Notification features.
How much space does the app take on the user’s phone?
The initial install is approximately 31MB, but this will vary by device and usage.
How do I add a Party?
- First, login to your App Dashboard and select Edit. Then, go to Step 3. Select the Features tab and scroll to the My Party option. Next, click on My Party and paste your party web address into the My Party section. Finally, click the Apply button.
- You can add more than one My Party button. We suggest that you label them differently, since they will have different links (e.g. Party1, Party2)
